REVIEWS
Sin I - Guitar/Bass: Double onslaught of raunchy-power-driven bluesy-garage rock riffs, fussed a rawest of punk rhythm and roll, raunchy bass riffs
Sin II - Vocals: Delivery of a blistering and firecracker singing
Sin III - Drums: Catachy blistering drumming and beats
Sin IV - Overall: I welcome you all to Slovenians, and their latest release, of four tracks, of over ten minutes runtime
Soon as the listener presses the play button, one is welcome into the opening track, 'Negative Influence', that jumps straight into this explosion of speed-driven (groovy/catchy) garage 'Motörhead' rock anthem, following suit with the remaining three songs that deliver the same motivation attitude as the opening song, thus providing this perfect punk and roll machine, that's fill to the brim of full-on energy, aggression, catchy, short-slow catchy-bluesy moments, four equally solid, strongly composed songs, tight musicianship/showmanship, while the vocals provide the listener with a fusion of punk/bluesy and a -Esque Lemmy (Motörhead), a blistering sound from the guitars/bass and the drums, that intertwines elements/influences of pure energetic rawest of punk/hardcore, rock n' roll, bluesy-hard rock, and garage rock, with a piece of top-notch entertaining music from start to finish
Sin V - Artwork: I’m unsure about the artwork, eye-catching and hardcore punk
Sin VI - Outstanding: The whole sweet-short thing
Sin VII - Dislike: None

(...) Slovenians from Brussels, Belgium are in no way strangers to the pages of this zine, because I reviewed their last release a while ago. Now, they have a new e.p. out and it contains four songs of unrelenting skate punk madness. Negative Influence is for me the best song on this e.p. being fast skate punk anthem with lots of energy, harsh yet melodic vocal lines and catchy main melody. Get A Job is more garage punk influenced mid tempo more rock vibe song and it sounds interesting. Mobilehome has bass intro followed with almost sludgy song start and dirty guitar riffs sending raw punk spirit across our sound speakers to our hearts and minds. Vocals are spoken and in French on this one, varying between singing, angry reciting and whispering. Newbee In Town is again faster more straightforward punk song and my other highlight of this record. Good one. (...)
