This is a great single/EP from a Brussel-Paris-based experienced trio, which does blend high-energized, monumentum-filled sludge hammering and mud devouring vocal lines with the glimpses of experimental electronica and solid sonic effects. The issue includes a remix by Garlic.wav as well which by any means does add propulsive, slightly mutilated jungle rhythms to it. A superb workout indeed.

En marge de leur nouveau cd « The end», le groupe sort son nouvel ep »My sun
is dying ». Voici le groupe le plus prometteur de cette décennie. P.U.T c’est une fusion entre Hint, Deity guns, Portobello bones le fleuron de la scène française des années 90. P.U.T sont les descendant ultime de ces groupes, qui ont porté haut et fort la scène française hors de nos contrée. C’est ce qui est en train de se produire avec P.U.T, une machine sans contrefaçon, un bulldozer des temps modernes, qui nous percute de plein fouet avec ces titres ténébreux et rageur. Le rythme est lourd, pesant P.U.T dégaine ses instruments comme des balles, et nous projette dans un monde caverneux. Il n’en faut pas plus
pour être hypnotisé. JL
